The National Republican Guard, through SEPNA – Nature and Environmental Protection Service, committed to defending environmental values ​​and improving the safety and well-being of the population, annually launches Operational Directives to raise awareness of the importance of preserving our planet's ecosystems.

One of these is the "Walk Through the Forest," which is an important way to raise awareness about the value of the forest and its protection against fires.

It aims to encourage residents to practice good practices, respect nature, and protect our forests, while also promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Between 2016 and 2018, the event gained special significance with the creation of colorful, personalized t-shirts by the artist.

Thousands of enthusiastic walkers painted the 20 districts of Portugal, a color for each year.
